Architecture Story & Chat Polish
- What changed:
- Published the JainKosh architecture story as a PM-led technical case study explaining how the RAG pipeline, canonical guardrails, and answer quality system work under the hood.
- Replaced the AI model powering chat across all surfaces — web widget, iOS, and Android — with DeepSeek V4 Flash, delivering faster responses at lower cost.
- Fixed a visible chat quality issue: the AI was occasionally exposing its internal planning text ("We need to answer…", "Final check") in user-facing responses. This is now stripped before display.

Alert Quality & Scanner Tuning
- What changed:
- Cleaned up the alerting system to reduce noise. A stale browser-signature scanner was generating false-positive page-display alerts for pages that rendered correctly. Scanner filtering and priority guidelines were updated.
- AI credit-monitoring guardrails (shipped Aug 11) continued to protect against provider-budget exhaustion by capping token usage per request.

Home Redesign, Global Search & Beta Release 60/33
- What changed:
- Redesigned the Home experience on iOS and Android: a content-first hub with doors into Video Lectures, Granths (scriptures), Kavya Kosh (poetry), and Study Notes — all loading natively in-app.
- Global search launched across iOS and Android. Users can search JainKosh content from any screen.
- First-run experience redesigned with a branded splash, onboarding flow, and clearer navigation.
- Video Lectures got their own Home door, replacing the previous "Videos & Lectures" card.
- About content went live with real JainKosh information instead of placeholder text.
- Calendar improvements: truthful legend colours, a readable TODAY marker, and plum-parva display on Android.
- Shipped internal beta builds iOS 60 (0.1.0) and Android 33 (0.4.1) to TestFlight and Play Internal Testing.
- Our Books tab promoted to bottom navigation on both platforms, with corrected WhatsApp contact info.
- Page headers compacted to save vertical space on all screens.

- Dark mode enabled on iOS with adaptive card surfaces.
- Per-section language chip that remembers your preference (Hindi/Hinglish/English) per page.
- In-app web views for Our Books availability — no more kicking users out to Safari.

Answer Quality Breakthrough & Source Reference Fix
- What changed:
- Answer quality hit 100% (120/120) on the live evaluation benchmark — the RAG pipeline now consistently produces grounded, accurate, Digambar-aligned answers with proper source citations.
- Wrong source references fixed: the chatbot was occasionally citing navigation pages or unrelated documents as evidence. New relevance gating, citation allowlisting, and ranked lexical retrieval solved this. Post-fix regrade showed a 7.1% strict wrong-reference rate.
- Canonical answer guardrails strengthened: typo-tolerant matching (for voice input), roman-transliteration parity, and two-sided comparison handling.
- OKF (Open Knowledge Framework) concepts classified and integrated — boundary Jain concepts now get properly routed answers instead of generic web results.
- CI routing-eval gate added: every PR now runs the sect-conflict evaluation to catch regressions before merge.
- Scheduled live-quality monitor runs daily to catch provider or pipeline degradation early.

Cloudflare Cutover & Third-Party APK Review
- What changed:
- Cloudflare protection attempted for jainkosh.org but rolled back: Bluehost proxy caching conflicts caused 409 reload challenges. Root cause identified and documented for future attempt.
- Third-party APK review published: visual analysis of a reference Jain app to inform JainKosh mobile design direction.
- Site-check panic button added for rapid health diagnosis when jainkosh.org has issues.

Answer Review Dashboard & Stability
- What changed:
- Answer review dashboard launched — volunteers (led by Vikas Ji) can now review chatbot answers, flag incorrect ones, and help improve quality. Passwordless by design for easy access.
- Analytics dashboard password gate removed — now accessible to stakeholders directly.
- 409 stability incident resolved: Bluehost proxy caching was causing reload loops for jainkosh.org visitors. Botnet UA rotation was exhausting server resources. Fixed with `.cpanel/proxy_conf` cache tuning and botnet filtering.
- Site health observability expanded with fallback telemetry paths.

Native iOS & Android Apps, RAG Pipeline, Calendar
- What changed:
- Native iOS app built from scratch in Swift/SwiftUI: onboarding, AI Ask tab, Jain calendar, saved answers, voice input (behind feature flag), and JainKosh orange design palette.
- Native Android app built in Kotlin/Jetpack Compose: full parity with iOS including calendar, Ask AI, learning resources, video guides, daily reflection, and push notifications.
- RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipeline went live: JainKosh AI now retrieves from a verified corpus of Jain scripture pages and PDFs instead of relying on general knowledge. Includes OCR for scanned PDFs, Digambar-centric retrieval weighting, and source citation requirements.
- Jain Calendar launched on both platforms with Gregorian-to-tithi mapping using verified Digambar dates. Includes daily guidance (Dos & Don'ts) and food/fasting cues.
- Web Push notifications completed: daily "आज का जैन चिंतन" push at 7 AM IST, with opt-in prompt, analytics funnel, and unsubscribe flow.

Web Chatbot Launch & Analytics
- What changed:
- AI chatbot widget launched on jainkosh.org via MediaWiki integration: users can ask Jain philosophy questions in Hindi, Hinglish, or English and get AI-powered answers with source citations.
- Embedded widget polished with streaming responses, mobile-responsive layout, language switching, markdown rendering, and dark mode.
- Answer quality guardrails: canonical Digambar grounding for sensitive topics (tirthankar marital status, sect-specific questions), fabricated-link prevention, and scope controls.
- Chat history persists locally so conversations survive page reloads.
- Follow-up question pills suggest next questions based on context.
- Video recommendation integration: chatbot suggests exact JainKosh YouTube playlist links instead of generic channel URLs.
- Feedback system: users can report issues or rate answers, feeding into the answer review pipeline.
- Analytics dashboard launched with QA-aware filtering, question tracking, push notification funnel, site health monitoring, and IST-default timezone. Stakeholder reports separated from internal testing data.
- Web Push notifications proof-of-concept shipped with daily Jain wisdom pushes, opt-in flow, and unsubscribe support.
